Dear Poplar Tree Families,
This week's Inclusion Spirit Week was a great success! Whether it was cozy PJs, vibrant rainbows, hidden kindness in camo, creative hats, or amazing school spirit - everyone's participation and enthusiasm showed incredible support for inclusion and acceptance!
Thank you to our 4th Grade Paw Tech Squad members for planning this week and helping to send the message that we are all different, and that's what makes our school so special! Let's carry the spirit of inclusion with us every day and continue to create a school where everyone feels valued, respected, and celebrated.
As a reminder, Monday, March 31 is a student holiday. Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate! Also, Tuesday, April 1 is a teacher workday. We look forward to seeing all our Panthers back in school on Wednesday, April 2!
Have a great weekend!
Sue Andujar, Principal
Amy Alley, Assistant Principal

🫵🏼 We Need You for the PTES PTA Board 🫵🏼
We need your help to continue to have a strong and active PTA next year. Without a board, our PTA will dissolve and our school will no longer have after-school programs, community events, grants to support funding needs, and more.
Check out the PTA website for detailed position descriptions and estimated time commitments. If you have a question about a position, or the PTA board, please email [email protected]. Submit your nomination by April 22!
The PTA Board develops goals for the PTA, appoints committees, and makes time-sensitive decisions in between regular board meetings to ensure that our students and teachers have the resources and support necessary to thrive. PTA Board volunteers serve our local school community and make real, tangible impacts for our students, parents, and teachers. We champion events like the Panther Prowl, Back-to-School Nights, Spelling Bees, and Science Fairs. We support teacher appreciation events, keep parents informed, and coordinate our room parents and event volunteers. Come join us and make a difference in our school community!
