Science Night Expo!
A message about our annual Science Night Expo!
It’s almost time for Poplar Tree’s Annual Science Night Expo! It’s an exciting opportunity for students to create a science-related project that captures his or her interest. This is not a Science Fair. Each participant should be prepared to present the project and each participant will receive a special ribbon of participation on the Expo night.
The Science Night Expo will be held on Thursday, March 19, 6:30-7:30pm. All projects need to be taken home at the completion of the Expo that evening.
The Parent/Guardian Approval Form must be turned into the main office by February 19. If your child is working with another student, both children need a signed Parent/Guardian Partner Approval Form.
Please look at our Science Night Expectations. Students are asked to display their projects creatively on a three-sided project board. These boards are available at local office supply, craft, and/or chain stores (i.e. Target, Walmart, etc.).
Thank you for supporting our Science Night Expo and sharing your knowledge, talents and creativity. Please remember that parental supervision the night of the Expo is required. We are not able to provide computers at the Expo. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
