Students reading on grade level by the end of 3rd Grade

Measurable Outcome: By the end of the school year 73% students in grades K-3 will make a years growth in the area of reading fluency and comprehension as measured by the fall and spring Universal Screener (iReady) and K-PALS. 
In addition, by the end of the 2023-24 school year 32% of students identified as ESOL and 50% of students identified as SPED will make over a years worth of growth in the area of reading fluency as measured by the fall and spring Universal Screener (iReady).
Strategy 1- Expand use of skills-based grouping to ensure students demonstrate mastery of foundational skills. 
Strategy 2 -Improve daily, systematic, explicit instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, and morphology in the core language arts block.

Growth and performance on state/national/international assessments in math.  Successful completion of Algebra 1 by 8th Grade (leading indicators)

Measureable Outcome: By then end of the school year 74% students in graded 4-6 will make a years growth in the area of mathematics as measured by the fall and spring Universal Screener (I-Ready) 
In addition, by the end of the 2023-24 school year 60% of students identified as ESOL and 49% of students identified as SPED will make over a years worth of growth in the area of mathematics as measured by the fall and spring Universal Screener (iReady).
Strategy 1 - Increase teacher implementation of explicit instruction and other components of effective mathematics intervention.
Strategy 2 - Increase teachers implementation strategies related to Shift 8: from looking for correct answers towards revealing student thinking.

Measureable Outcome: By the end of SY 2023-24, 100% of students will show growth as Ethical & Global Citizens on POG self-reflections scored with a student survey given at the beginning and end of the year.
Strategy 1 - Collaborative teams will align content knowledge and skills with POG attributes and skills.
Strategy 2 - School leaders and staff will build an understanding with the community about why POG attributes and skills positively impact students within and beyond school.
